Meet Barry The Canary, The Bird With A Bowl Feather Cut

Birds are such adorable little fellas known for their beautiful and vibrant hues. But have you ever heard of a bird that was recognized for its haircut? Well, here is one such little birdie. Barry is a cute little Gloster canary with a one-of-a-kind hairstyle. This groovy hairstyle looks like a perfectly done bowl cut. It is what makes him the bird with the fringe.

Gloster Canaries originated from the Canary Islands, but these days it is difficult to find them in the wild. These birds are the product of many years of selective breeding. They can live up to 7-12 years. Gloster Canaries are well recognized for their ability to sing. Bird lovers from all around the world adore these little birdies because of their cute haircut and talent for singing.

Barry’s owners went to the pet shop on the 26th of July, 2019, looking for the perfect bird. They came back on the 27th of July, 2019, with none other than Barry himself. According to them, “he was definitely the one”. The owners believe that Barry is one and a half years old, but they have no proof to back up this claim. Two types of Gloster canaries exist. One type is the consort and the other type is the corona. What differentiates these two kinds are their fringe. The consorts have no fringe, whereas the coronas have a fringe.

Due to the fringe, Barry definitely falls under the category of coronas. This adorable little birdie enjoys going out in his bird carrier. His owners take him for walks around parks and fields, making him tweet and hop with excitement. Barry even loves sitting on the window sill and singing.

He has his own Instagram account where he has so many followers and a bio that says “I’m Barry, the bird with a fringe” as he has a fringe these days. His owners upload his cute pictures there so that the followers can enjoy them as well. One look at this beautiful birdie and your hearts will melt for sure.
